I’m using a different account to write this review because it includes personal information but I’m a real person, who is always write positive review. Boro Park OB/GYN was extremely rude and impatient. Pushing the surgery agreement to the patient and not letting patients to talk to their family for the surgical decision, which caused by their own procedure. Here is what happened. I went to this office to remove my IUD, which I got inserted here 3 years ago at Boro Park OB/GYN, exactly the same place. From my annual check up, I was told that string wasn’t visible so I asked the receptionist that if I need anything particular to remove. The receptionist told me to just go in. I went to the office and they told me they could’t do remove it because the string was all the way inside and they need thermography technician. I completely wasted my first visit. I booked again for next week and went to the office again. They told me they can’t remove it and it happens when the string was “cut too short”. I told them I inserted here. The doctor started saying that the IUD was probably just “curled up by itself” so I needed a full-anesthesia surgery to remove it. I never informed that I might have to remove it by a full-anesthesia surgery. I told the receptionist that I wanted to talk to my husband over the phone while I was waiting to be called for the blood test. She said “if you go out, you’ll miss the blood test.” (They rarely had a reception for the phone so I had to go out for just a few minutes to make a phone call.) There wasn’t many patients in the room so I don’t know why she had to rush me that much. The receptionist kept telling me to sign the paperwork to book the surgery. I started feeling uncomfortable. I felt like I wasn’t informed enough about the surgery so I told them I can’t sign anything without discussing with my husband. She said “Ok then I’ll just let the doctor you declined”. I told them I just want to make a phone call. The receptionist told me I can’t schedule a surgery if I don’t sign the paperwork at their office right now or I have to come back all the way. I can’t have it to take a look until I sign. I left without signing anything. All the conversations were at the waiting area where everyone could hear the detail of my visit. I went to get a second opinion with another doctor. Another doctor was very patiently looking into this and she said the reason why we can’t get it out was the string was “cut too short” when it was inserted, probably not “curled up” by itself. The another doctor never rushed me to sign any paperwork and she kindly told me if I need to discuss with my family and just call them back when I’m ready. I was surprised the difference between those 2 offices. I would recommend anyone to stay away from this OB/GYN.

Loved my doctor but the management of these offices is so bad that I ultimately had to switch. I’ve never had more trouble with scheduling (they’ve scheduled me for the wrong location multiple times), trying to reach a live person or obtaining my medical records. If you try and call you will be bounced around to an average of 3 different people - if they even pick up - and there is no option to do anything electronically. Yes, they need you to physically come down to the office to sign the record release form. Also, my doctor was great but I went in for a routine procedure and in the middle she had to admonish the assistant for not ordering the right supplies. All I can say is that if I was the nervous type, that would have sent me over the edge. I went through it so you don’t have to, save yourself!!

My experience at Boro ObGyn has been great so far. Being new to the healthcare system in the US, I didn’t know what to expect, but the whole staff at the Williamsburg location is welcoming and friendly; I am particularly happy with Caroline Paster and Lindsay. They are very positive and reassuring, and I hope it is going to be that way until the end of my pregnancy.

I’ve always been very anxious when seeing a ob/gyn and my experience with Lindsey, a wonderful midwife, has completely changed my perspective. She was very clear, communicative and compassionate. I felt very heard and informed. This is how women’s health check ups should feel. Thank you so much.

I love the midwife team at Boro Park! They did a great job with me for my first pregnancy 5 years ago and now again with my second. I also have to note, that all of the support staff is lovely as well! I always feel comfortable, welcome and taken care of.

I wish this place gets shut down. You will wait over two hours to get through to someone. Their service is miserable and awful. Find somewhere else to go because this place will make you cry. Horrible horrible service and management.

I used their practice 5 months ago for a repeat c-section. Everything went great appointments are quick and smooth. The doctors are very knowledgeable and thorough. My only con comes after I had my c-section. I was sent home with only extra-strength OTC medication. I get home and I call to ask for a script for stronger pain medication and they said we don’t prescribe narcotics. while I was in the hospital I was given stronger pain medication. I honestly just thought they forgot to fill in my script. I wasn’t aware that this is a policy they should make that know during the consultation. I had a whole human cut out of me of course I was in so much pain. Just wanted to put this on google to help future mamas. Everyone's pain threshold is different, so the doctor's office should make it clear this is a policy.
